The 2024 Sydney Rare Book Fair returns again in October 2024

It will be held again at the beautiful gothic MacLaurin Hall, at the center of the University of Sydney on the 24th to 26th of October 2024.

MacLaurin Hall is one of the University of Sydney's oldest and most historical buildings located in Camperdown, just 10 minutes from Sydney's CBD.

Thursday 24th October: 6pm - 9pm

Friday 25th October: 10am - 5pm

Saturday 26th October: 10am - 4pm

ENTRY IS FREE

A gathering of buyers, sellers and lovers of books not to be missed.

Whatever your tastes may be, you are sure to find a rare and interesting book, print or piece of ephemera to add to your collection.

The Antique Bookshop & Curios

We have been supplying books to collectors, libraries and readers for over 40 years. Catalogues are issued monthly in hard copy or are on-line for viewing or downloading. Our premises are 5 mins drive north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and we are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm. We cover a wide variety of interests in the stock we hold, however we will be bringing to the Sydney Rare Book Fair this year: A good collection of finely leather-bound books A large number of books with signatures or inscriptions Many volumes on printing, typography, lettering and books about books Various editions of Izaak Walton's "Complete Angler", including the rare set illustrated with 54 photographic plates by Emerson and Blankhart, one of the most celebrated of photographically illustrated books. Stunning illustrated books with illustrations by Eric Gill, Edmund Dulac, Robert Gibbings, Rayner Hoff, Pierce Egan and others.
